Day-1 Arrival - Istanbul – Turkey
“Türkiye’ye Hoşgeldiniz! Welcome to Turkey”.
Istanbul is the only city in the world to straddle two continents. It’s no surprise that this vast metropolis is home to an enchanting mix of different cultures and traditions – blending the influences of both east and west.
- Reception at Istanbul International Airport and transfer to hotel in Istanbul
- Brief rest and then meet with your tour guide to continue to spend the day mingling with locals and enjoying some delicious food.
- Explore the streets of Sultanahmet District and afterward meet a local family for a traditional Turkish dinner.
- After dinner have the opportunity to take in the view of the Marmara Sea.
- Continue onto a local tea house for some tea and partake in some nargile (Free time if you do not wish to do be a part of this excursion).
- After local tea house head back to hotel for overnight rest.

Day-2 Istanbul

- Breakfast at hotel and being the day with Istanbul City Tour.
- First stop is the Hagia Sophia – This masterpiece of the Byzantine Empire is an architectural treasure. Tall and proud in downtown Istanbul, holding within its walls more than 1500 years of Turkish history. This beautiful site is somewhat of a chameleon, it has lived its long life as a church, mosque and now as a museum, and you may even recognize it from the movies like “From Russia with Love” or “Taken 2”.
- Afterwards visit the Jewel in the Istanbul crown, Sultan Ahmet I’s Blue Mosque – It is one of the most striking sights in Istanbul, with its blue-tiled walls, 260 windows, and 6 minarets.
- Next visit the ancient Hippodrome – Now known as the Sultanahmet Square, is square in Istanbul which previously served as a circus that was the sporting and social centre of Constantinople, the capital of the Byzantine Empire.
- Rest and enjoy lunch at a local café in the heart of Istanbul.
- Continue with the city tour and visit the Topkapi Palace – This overlooks the mighty Bosphorus strait and gives an insight into the stories of the sultans who lived here in the previous centuries.
- Next you will visit the Grand Bazaar – One of the largest and oldest covered markets in the world, with 61 covered streets and over 4000 shops. The Grand Bazaar in Istanbul is often regarded as one of the first shopping malls of the world. Just remember to bring your “A-Game” when it comes to haggling.
- Stop at a Turkish coffee shop to get a taste of authentic Turkish coffee.
- In the evening get to the harbourside for a farewell dinner.

Day-3 Departure - Istanbul
